PROMISES TO BE A FANTASTIC WEEK. I HAVE STILL 3 PLACES LEFT ON THE COACH. IF

THE QUIZ AT THE RANSDALE AT THE END OF MARCH WAS
REALLY WELL ATTENDED WITH LOTS OF NEW FACES AMONGST THE CROWD. THANKS AGAIN TO
DAVE, SHARRON, JIM AND LESLIE FOR A FABULOUS NIGHT.

THE FINAL COMMENT
Come and join us as the
Bridlington Millau Twinning Association go to the DOGS!! Yes, a fabulous night
out at Craven Park in Hull at the Dog track. You don’t need to be a betting
genius either. The atmosphere is really fantastic as you will be up in the
Restaurant overlooking the track. You can order something to eat from a really
cheap menu and enjoy the betting without even leaving the restaurant!! Cost of
the whole evening is only £10 per adult and £5 per under 16 which includes
return coach transport and entrance to Craven Park. If we get enough people
going, it will be even cheaper. We need to act quickly on this one to book our
places, so ring Chris or Barbara NOW to make sure of your place. It’s a
great night out - don’t miss it.
A new event will be our 10th anniversary GARDEN PARTY to be
held on Sunday 24th June at 8, Gillus Lane in Bempton. A must for
everyone!! As well as the garden stocked full of plants and features there will
be a plant stall, Tombola, White Elephant stall, Jams and cakes, BBQ and snacks
available, a bar, TEA, COFFEE AND ICE CREAMS, and garden games – Throw the
sponge, splat the rat, cherry spitting contest, sweets in the jar and many many
more. We’d like you to come and have lunch with us and make an afternoon of
it!! Doors open at 12.00 and the cost of £2 per adult £1 per child under 16
will give you a free glass of bubbly to toast the 10th Anniversary.
Come early to take full advantage of the day.
And don’t forget our bastille day barn dance and BBq taking place in a
real barn!! Come and try out your “strip the willow” and enjoy the great
atmosphere. We’ll send you more details in the next edition of the newsletter.
