The Bastille Barn Dance at Field House Farm was a terrific night filled with the atmosphere of being in a real barn with a great band and plenty of our Association members. The band "BEDLAM" provided the non-stop dancing and relaxing in the hay was the order of the night.
Like all great nights, the winning combination of cooking your own food on an oil drum BBQ and sharing food and drink with friends proved irresistable.
But of course, it's not just about eating and drinking, remember the Barn Dance? Well that will mean that there should be some dancing then. And indeed, there was plenty. Our members needed no encouragement to get up from the very first call and start the dancing. There was lots of holding hands (well they had to find some excuse for it!)
And most of us managed to get it right for some of the time!! (Except for Terry, who thought the Invitation had said "Come to a Burn's Dance")
A huge thanks to John and Angela Foster for the use of their farm. We'll leave you with our members being in a spin!! (Just for Daphne).
