Ten years on and many groups and individuals have travelled independently to Millau. Besides the schools, each year, teams of young footballers from the area travel for the June International Tournament where they do battle not just with local teams but also teams from Germany, Italy and Spain. Richard Cresswell and Curtis Woodhouse were both a part of the football groups who have travelled to Millau over the past few years and hopefully more local players will benefit from this early International experience and move onto professional football teams. The local Rotary group twinned their two groups with a celebration at the Manor Court a few years ago. Groups of Adult learners of French from East Yorkshire College have made two study visit exchanges and worked on language projects to develop their linguistic skills; the tennis club joined the Millau tennis club for a tournament; the Beaconsfield football team made a trip to challenge a Millau eleven; and music has also been well represented with a local Jazz group "Bejazzled" taking part in the annual Millau Jazz Festival.
